Top Frequently Asked Questions

Does RTT® work?
Yes, it does. Unlike traditional hypnotherapy, RTT® goes beyond positive reinforcement. It identifies and addresses the root cause of an issue and not just the symptoms. Through this process, you gain a deep understanding of when, how, and why a limiting belief was formed.
RTT® is powerful, effective and fast. Once the underlying cause is uncovered and understood, many clients feel empowered to move forward and unlock their full potential.
What does it feel like to be hypnotised?

The experience feels different for everybody. Some people feel a floating or drifting sensation, others may feel deeply grounded. What most people have in common is that they feel relaxed and at ease. There is no right or wrong way of how you experience the session. Regardless of what it feels like, it is working on a deep, subconscious level where powerful transformation takes place.

Can I get 'stuck' in hypnosis?

No! The hypnotic state simply allows for you to relax your mind and body deeply. You have complete control during the session. You can talk, move your body and definitely open your eyes when you want. The safety of my clients is the most important rule. Some people do not want to open their eyes at the end of the session as they enjoy the feeling of deep relaxation. It is perfectly normal. Anyway, I usually bring my clients to full awareness, unless I’m certain that they are in a lying down position and can safely snooze.

What if I don't go deep enough?

Do not worry about this. The deepness of the hypnosis is not the indicator for the success of the session. As long as you are open and committed to the session, you are already on the way to the success.

What if I remember some unpleasant event during regression?

Regression is crucial to discover the source of the issue. You will not re-experience the event (physical pain for example), but rather review it. Think of it as watching a play in a theatre. Your feelings and emotions are more important than the details of the past event. You will feel completely safe and in control, and I will make sure of that.

What if I already know the reason behind my issue?

What makes this method unique is that it takes you one level deeper – beyond what you already know – to uncover why the issue appeared in the first place. Your subconscious mind, where all your emotions and beliefs are stored, offers a new perspective that your conscious mind may not yet see. Stay open, trust yourself, and allow your subconscious to speak for you as it controls 90% of your brain activity – thoughts, actions, and behaviours.

How long does one session take?

Each session takes between 90 to 120 minutes. It is best to block two full hours in your agenda to make sure you do not feel rushed. Ideally you should allow yourself some time after the session to rest and relax, but it is not mandatory.

Why do I need to listen to the recording for 21 days?

Repetition is how the mind learns. Each time you listen to the recording, the positive suggestions go deeper into your subconscious, strengthening the transformation you’re working toward.
From a neurological perspective, repetition helps build new neural pathways in the brain. The more frequently you engage with a new idea or behaviour, the stronger and more automatic those neural connections become. This is how lasting change is created.
Think of how a child learns to walk—through daily attempts and repetition, the brain wires in the skill until it becomes natural. Similarly, listening daily strengthens new neural pathways, replacing old patterns with more empowering ones.
Top athletes do the same. They train and rehearse mentally and physically until their responses are automatic. Your mind is no different. 21 days gives your brain the time it needs to start embedding these new patterns.

Are results guaranteed?

Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool for transformation, but like any therapeutic approach, results can vary from person to person. Your commitment to the process – listening to your recording daily, being open to change, and engaging fully – plays a key role in the outcome.
While many clients experience significant breakthroughs, no therapist can ethically guarantee results, as each person’s mind and journey are unique. What I can promise is a safe, supportive space and a personalised approach to help you reach your goals as effectively as possible.
